ABOUT SUREPASS

Making Nigeria’s revised curriculum easier to access, understand and teach.

SurePass is an independent Nigerian education resource created to help pupils, teachers, parents and schools find clear explanations of topics in the revised Basic Education Curriculum (BEC) and Senior Education Curriculum (SEC). Our main website is a growing, class-by-class study library for the new curriculum—not primarily an exam past-question website.

When new subjects and curriculum changes reach classrooms before suitable textbooks reach every learner or teacher, finding dependable reference material can be difficult. SurePass helps bridge that access gap through readable, textbook-style topic explanations and examples that can be consulted online.

WHY SUREPASS EXISTS

New curriculum topics should not be out of reach.

The introduction of revised school curricula can create a difficult transition: teaching begins while reference books, updated materials and guidance are not yet equally accessible to every school or household. SurePass was created to make curriculum-topic explanations easier to find during that transition and beyond.

Instead of organising content mainly around exam questions or generic “lesson notes”, we develop topic-based study material within the revised curriculum’s class, subject and theme structure. A page may support individual study, classroom explanation, preparation of teaching notes or revision of a topic already taught.

01

Curriculum-topic reference

Study resources are organised around the revised BEC and SEC and aim to explain the knowledge and skills relevant to each topic at the appropriate class level.

02

Useful for learning and teaching

We prioritise understandable explanations, examples and illustrations so a pupil can study independently and a teacher can use the material as a supplementary teaching reference.

03

Practice as a separate layer

Flashcards and topic quizzes can help check understanding. Dedicated SurePass mobile apps serve exam-focused needs, such as past questions, explanations and computer-based practice.

WHAT YOU WILL FIND HERE

Curriculum resources first. Education updates alongside them.

The website publishes study topics for the revised Nigerian curriculum, organised by class, subject, theme and topic. The library is designed to be a useful companion while schools, teachers and families obtain or use approved textbooks and other official materials.

Our News & Updates section covers examination announcements, admissions, scholarships, competitions and important education developments. Separate SurePass apps provide exam-specific practice and other learning experiences. Their features and availability depend on the app.

QUALITY & RESPONSIBILITY

A helpful reference must also be trustworthy.

We aim for curriculum-appropriate scope, correct explanations, useful examples and clear language. We welcome corrections, especially when a curriculum interpretation, factual explanation or school requirement needs updating.

Our team develops and manually reviews curriculum-topic resources before publication. AI assists with drafting and organising material and helps create selected diagrams and illustrations, each checked by our editors for accuracy and learning value. Our context-aware Sabi AI assistant can expand on the topic you are studying; for changing statistics, deadlines and official announcements, always confirm important details with the responsible institution.

Educational quality oversight is guided by Nnabugwu Onyenachiha Perpetual, SurePass Educational Quality Assurance Director. Her professional background and the scope of review are described in our Editorial Standards.
