Terms governing use of SurePass learning, account, practice and information services.
By using SurePass, users agree to use the service lawfully and responsibly and to respect the rights, security and learning experience of other users.
1. Educational purpose
SurePass provides educational resources, study tools and information intended to support learning. It does not replace instructions issued by a learner’s school, examination body, admissions institution, regulator or other responsible authority.
Use of SurePass does not guarantee examination scores, admission, scholarships, employment or any other result. Outcomes depend on factors outside the platform, including the learner’s own preparation and the decisions or requirements of third parties.
2. Accounts and account security
Users are responsible for providing information that is reasonably accurate for the features they use, protecting their account credentials and taking reasonable steps to prevent unauthorised access to their account or device.
Users should not share passwords or one-time security codes. SurePass may restrict, suspend or require verification of an account where activity creates a reasonable security, abuse or impersonation concern.
3. Acceptable use
Users must not intentionally disrupt the service, bypass security controls, submit malicious code, scrape or automate access in a way that harms the platform, impersonate another person, interfere with another user’s account, or use SurePass for unlawful, fraudulent or abusive activity.
Reasonable automated access expressly provided by SurePass, such as supported APIs or app functions, is not prohibited merely because it is automated.
4. User submissions and community features
Comments, corrections, messages and other submissions must be lawful, relevant and respectful. A user remains responsible for material they submit and should avoid posting confidential information or credentials in public areas.
SurePass may moderate, reject or remove spam, abusive material, misleading impersonation, prohibited links, malicious code or submissions that create security, safety, legal or operational concerns.
5. Content and intellectual property
SurePass branding, original learning resources, site design, software, protected visual material and other original content may be protected by copyright, trademark or other rights. Access to the service does not by itself grant permission to republish protected SurePass material as another product or service.
Normal personal study, classroom reference and other uses permitted by law or an applicable licence are not restricted by this clause. Third-party materials remain subject to the rights and terms of their respective owners.
6. Current information and external authorities
Examination dates, fees, eligibility rules, admissions processes, school policies and official procedures can change. Users should confirm consequential information with the responsible institution before acting, especially where a deadline, payment, registration or eligibility decision is involved.
SurePass is an independent education platform and is not an examination body, school regulator or admissions authority unless a page expressly states otherwise.
7. Sabi AI learning assistance
Sabi is SurePass’s context-aware AI study assistant. When you use it from a curriculum-topic page, it uses the topic you are reading to provide further explanations, examples, answers to study questions and additional learning support. It is designed to help you understand a topic, not to replace a teacher, an approved textbook or an official source.
Although we develop and test Sabi for educational use, its responses are generated by AI and are not guaranteed to be complete, error-free or up to date. You should verify important facts independently, especially numerical statistics, live information, examination dates, fees, admissions requirements, government announcements and other information that may change. Do not rely on an AI response alone to make a consequential academic, financial or administrative decision.
Review Sabi’s explanations alongside the curriculum topic and ask a teacher or qualified professional whenever you need clarification. Do not submit passwords, financial details or other sensitive personal information in your questions. You can report an inaccurate or inappropriate response so we can investigate it.
8. External links and third-party services
SurePass may link to or interact with official institutions, schools, universities, app stores and other external services. Those services operate under their own terms, policies, availability and security arrangements. SurePass does not control their decisions or guarantee their continued availability.
9. Service availability and changes
Features may be improved, replaced, temporarily unavailable or retired as the service develops. Reasonable efforts may be made to maintain core learning experiences, but uninterrupted operation of every feature, device integration or external connection is not guaranteed.
SurePass may update these terms when the service materially changes. Continued use after an updated version is published is subject to the current terms.
10. Limitation of educational information
SurePass aims to provide useful and accurate educational information, but errors can occur and current information can become outdated. Users should use appropriate judgment and confirm high-consequence decisions with the responsible school, examination body, admissions institution, regulator or other authoritative source.
11. Contact
Questions about these terms can be sent through the SurePass contact page. Security issues should be described without sending passwords, one-time codes or other sensitive credentials.
