The 2026 Scripture Union Nigeria Daily Power Quiz has moved beyond its opening LGA written stage. The next date candidates need to know is Saturday, October 10, when qualified students sit the State Level computer-based test.

Under the official Daily Power Quiz 2026 structure, the best three participants from each qualifying LGA group move forward from the October 3 written assessment. State-level qualifiers then compete by CBT, with the best three progressing again to the geopolitical stage on October 17.

The national pathway is therefore now much narrower: LGA written stage on October 3, State CBT on October 10, Geopolitical CBT on October 17 and the Grand Finale on November 14 at Scripture Union Nigeria headquarters opposite Old Airport, Samonda, Ibadan.

What State-Level Qualifiers Should Do Before October 10

Students who qualified from the LGA round should not create a fresh identity on the competition system. Scripture Union says the participant’s registration number follows the candidate through the current edition. Qualifiers should keep their registration details safe and follow the instructions communicated by their local/state coordinators.

The approved study coverage remains the 2026 Daily Power portions and the 2026/2027 Academic Year Search Magazine — Boost Your Faith. Candidates should revise from those materials rather than spend the remaining days on unrelated general-knowledge questions.

The State round is CBT, so students should also practise answering questions on a computer under time pressure. The official portal includes a Practice Centre with available mock examinations and released past questions. That is particularly useful for candidates who are academically prepared but have little experience with supervised CBT.

Where a tie occurs for the final qualifying place, the competition rules provide for a short 10-question tie-break. That means every point at the State stage can matter.

Official Portal, Eligibility and What Comes Next

Participants and parents should use the official Daily Power Quiz portal for current dates, login and practice resources. The competition is open to secondary-school students and to school leavers who are not older than 19 and are not enrolled in a tertiary institution.

The published registration fee for the 2026 edition is ₦1,000 per participant, paid at LGA level. Students who are already through the first round should not pay an unknown online account claiming that another unofficial fee is required for progression.

After the October 10 State CBT, the best three progress to the October 17 geopolitical CBT. Successful candidates from that stage then move toward the November 14 national final.

For support, Scripture Union lists 08181156874, 08130504419 and dpquiz@nurture-sunigeria.org. Qualifiers should use those official contacts or recognised SU coordinators if there is a genuine issue with the portal or stage instructions.

The LGA stage is now history. For candidates still in the Daily Power Quiz 2026, the immediate target is October 10: revise the approved material, practise CBT and keep the same participant record used from the beginning.
