Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology has released the OAUSTECH Post-UTME results for candidates who sat the 2026/2027 screening for Nursing Science, Medical Laboratory Science and Public Health Science. The university has also published the programme cut-off marks candidates will now be measured against.
The cut-off marks are 69.00 for Nursing Science, 50.00 for Medical Laboratory Science and 49.00 for Public Health. These figures matter because they are the university’s published admission-consideration thresholds for the three health programmes after the physical Post-UTME exercise.
The Nursing threshold is particularly competitive. Candidates for Nursing and Medical Laboratory Science were required to have scored at least 200 in the UTME before the screening, while Public Health applicants needed at least 180. OAUSTECH also requires the relevant five O’Level credits for these programmes at one sitting.

How to Check Your Score and Admission Status
OAUSTECH’s official result announcement includes downloadable lists for the three programmes. Candidates can view the university announcement and result files through the OAUSTECH Post-UTME result page.
For individual admission processing, OAUSTECH also operates an Admission Processing Portal. The page asks candidates to enter their UTME registration number and proceed to the admission information linked to their record.
- Open the official OAUSTECH result announcement and select the result file for Nursing, Medical Laboratory Science or Public Health.
- Search the published result with your name or UTME registration number where the downloaded file permits.
- Then open the OAUSTECH Admission Processing Portal and enter your UTME registration number.
- Also monitor JAMB CAPS because a school-side result is not yet the same thing as a final JAMB admission offer.
- Check Transfer Approval on CAPS as well as Admission Status if OAUSTECH proposes a different programme.
A Cut-Off Mark Is Not Yet an Admission Letter
Candidates who meet or exceed the published cut-off should not assume admission is automatic. OAUSTECH still has to apply its admission criteria, available capacity and JAMB processing requirements. Candidates who fall below a particular programme’s threshold should watch official university and CAPS updates rather than pay anyone claiming they can alter the result.
Applicants should also confirm that OAUSTECH remains their correct first-choice institution on JAMB and that the required O’Level result is properly uploaded. A strong screening score can still be held up by an incomplete admission record.
The next important update for successful candidates will be the movement from screening result to actual admission status. Until that happens, the safest routine is to keep the OAUSTECH Post-UTME results for reference, check the university portal and monitor JAMB CAPS.
